1. Google maps mashup with NYC subway with an extra bonus - bars in your destination area.

I never know any good places to meet people. Usually, I'll make a plan to meet a friend in some part of town that's convenient for both of us, but I never have a suggestion for where exactly to meet. This site not only figures out for me the best subway trains to take to our meeting spot, but it also tells me all the cool bars near my ultimate destination. I use this thing every day! (for the subway info, not because I go to a bar every day). Try it out. It's kind of clunky at times but otherwise wonderful.

2. Weather.com

I check it all the time and will check their "hour-by-hour" feature every day. Maybe it's becauase I miss my weather app on my smart phone. But I love knowing what the temperature is supposed to be 4 hours from now.
